Back from Edmonton

Sept 27, 2014 I left for a earlier than planned trip to Edmonton, AB.  On Sept 30 my first grandson was born.  He was early and weighed in at 4 lb 4 oz. James Emmett was born with gastroschisis (his bowel and a small part of his stomach outside).  Doctors did a good job of getting the stomach back inside and then his bowel a few days later.  After a hospital stay of 20 days, he was able to go home.  I stayed with my daughter to help her with James and it was wonderful.  I got to watch James grow for 3 and a half mths.  I had to get back home so on January 10, 2015 I flew out of Edmonton, AB for London, ON.
